ELIZABETH BAILEY | CO-FOUNDER AND PRINCIPAL

Elizabeth is a nationally recognized author, professional speaker, facilitator and branding professional. She has developed and managed board leadership, research, strategic growth planning, branding and communications efforts for hundreds of nonprofits and associations. Prior to co-founding 2B Communications, she served as a principal in a national marketing communications firm, headed up marketing for a technology startup, led development and public relations for the nation’s largest complex for the homeless, and co-founded a development and communications consulting firm serving higher-education and health-related clients nationwide. BETSEY BINÉT | CO-FOUNDER AND PRINCIPAL/CREATIVE

Betsey has managed creative teams in higher education, healthcare, fundraising, entertainment and the arts. A visual branding expert and an outstanding wordsmith, her portfolio includes complex brand identity systems and collaterals. Betsey is also an experienced development communicator whose award-winning case materials, proposals and other communications have helped to raise unprecedented support for business, healthcare, science research, education, the arts and the environment.

NANCY SCHMIDT | PRINCIPAL, RESEARCH AND STRATEGY

Nancy’s areas of expertise include market research, project management and audience engagement. With advanced training in sociolinguistics and anthropology, followed by more than twenty-five years conducting qualitative and quantitative research, she is uniquely qualified to understand and interpret the underlying forces that shape human behavior. She has also led comprehensive communications programs for leading education, nonprofit and corporate clients.

JOSHUA SHAW | CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

Prior to joining 2B, Josh founded a leading infrastructure and application development company, working with a diverse range of clients. He has held both chief technology officer and chief information officer consulting positions at companies ranging from entrepreneurial startups to multi-million-dollar corporations. His in‐depth experience with nonprofit organizations includes serving as both a strategic and tactical leader. He utilizes a broad range of technologies and is an expert in information systems programming and implementation.
